Customer Reviews

Two things to review: 1. The score -- beautifully printed, Del Mar editing is well worth it. We had four of the other symphonies in this edition, so knew them to be good editions, so took the advantage to (almost) complete the set (skipped no 9 due to cost -- will wait until the need to perform or study it comes along). 2. Foyles ordering system -- this was the first time I'd used it, so I tried the 'order online and pick up at the store' system. It worked fine (once I found out where to collect it -- not the music dept, but the basement order section). The folk in the music dept explained why much wasn't on the shelves in the store (paperback scores suffer from repeated perusals, and orchestral scores don't sell quickly). This made sense, and since it only took overnight to get the score in from their warehouse, I certainly have no complaint (even though I like browsing concrete items, the discount for following this system makes up for that loss!).
