Ray's Jazz: Lee Jones Quintet

Friday 7th April 2017 6:30pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Chargeable Event

Lee Jones is a jazz guitarist and composer, combining influences from modern jazz, fusion, blues, fingerstyle and rock styles.

He regularly performs throughout the UK jazz scene and has recorded/performed alongside Larry Coryell, Martin Taylor and Dennis Rollins. Lee graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 2007 and has since has released three solo albums, Swish (2007), Songs from the 13th Hour (2011) and After the Pier (2015) with former WEA producer Simon Tittley; featuring on Jazz FM's 'Discovery Show'.

Lee is currently completing a Ph.D. in collaborative music composition at the University of Salford, Manchester and brings his latest group to Ray's Jazz to promote his current album with special guest Mike Gorman. Further information is available at: www.leejones-guitarist.com
