Remembering poets of the First World War with Simon Armitage, Gillian Clarke and Daljit Nagra

Wednesday 25th June 2014 7:30pm - 9pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Chargeable Event

Marking the centenary of the beginning of the First World War, this special event brings together three leading poets as they talk to Suzi Feay about the enduring appeal of war poetry, its impact on their writing and also read the work of their favourite First World War poet. Hear from Daljit Nagra on Isaac Rosenberg, Gillian Clarke on Hedd Wyn and Simon Armitage on Wilfred Owen.
