Jacqueline Rose - Women in Dark Times - In association with Bristol Festival of Ideas

Thursday 23rd October 2014 6:30pm - 7:30pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Free Event

Recognised for her writing in psychoanalysis, feminism and literature, Jacqueline Rose explores and draws parallels between the lives of three remarkable women: revolutionary socialist Rosa Luxemburg; German-Jewish painter Charlotte Salomon, persecuted by family tragedy and Nazism; and film icon and consummate performer Marilyn Monroe.
