Routledge Presents: Great Minds Don’t Think Alike with Jane O'Grady, Angus Kennedy and Edward Skidelsky

Thursday 21st November 2013 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

Where are the great minds of today? Are we witnessing the end of 'grand theory' in the human sciences? Join Jane O'Grady (The Guardian), Angus Kennedy (the Institute of Ideas), and Edward Skidelsky (author with Robert Skidelsky of How Much is Enough? Money and the Good Life) for an enthralling discussion about what, if anything, great thinkers such as Bertrand Russell, Claude Levi-Strauss, Sigmund Freud, Iris Murdoch and Simone Weil have in common. This event celebrates Routledge's new Great Minds series -- ten of the great books of the twentieth century refreshed for a new audience. Please join us oat 6.00pm and enjoy a complementary glass of wine.

PLUS - One lucky attendee will win a complete set of the Routledge Great Minds series - worth £120! The winner will be selected at random at the end of the event.

Venue: the Gallery at Foyles

Tickets: FREE but booking is essential. Secure your place now by emailing events@foyles.co.uk
