A current candidate for 'hardest working man in jazz'; Shabaka had a phenomenal 2013, contributing to two of the most critically acclaimed records in any genre as part of Melt Yourself Down and Sons Of Kemet (the latter act winning the MOBO for 'Best Jazz Act') and starting another new group called The Comet Is Coming. This evening we're delighted to welcome him as he showcases his solo saxophone project here in the Cafe.
