Shaun Tan has garnered plaudits and praise from academics, illustrators and writers all over the world for his extraordinary children's stories and drawings. The Bird King and Other Sketches showcases Shaun's unique world for the first time, collecting together his preliminary designs for book, film and theatre projects, sketchbook pages and drawings from life. This afternoon offers a rare chance to meet one of our most celebrated contemporary storytellers.
