A real treat for audiences as two highly respected figures on the British jazz scene come together on the Ray's Jazz stage. Russian saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev has made London his home, playing and organising gigs and recordings across the metropolis. This evening he promotes his forthcoming album 'Smiling OrganizmVol.1' with Liam Noblethe help of leading pianist Liam Noble (right), who is taking time away from his own quintet and from playing with acts as varied as the Bobby Wellins Quartet and the Mark Lockheart Ellington Project.
