The Taeko Kunishima Trio

Thursday 28th November 2013 6pm - 7pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Free Event

Taeko Kunishima is a Japanese pianist who plays melodic jazz with a thoroughly contemporary sound. During her flying visit to London we're thrilled that she's squeezing in an appearance on the Ray's Jazz Stage, where she'll be teaming up with Clive Bell, Europe's leading performer on the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), for a set featuring original compositions from Taeko's three albums Late Autumn, Red Dragonfly and Place To Be.

Line-up:

Taeko Kunishima :: Piano
Clive Bell :: Shakuhachi
Matt Armstrong :: Double bass

Tickets: FREE, no need to book, just come along!
Venue: The Café at Foyles
