Illustration in the Age of Entertainment and Distraction With Emma Hayley, Grant Orchard and Adam Simpson

Thursday 14th June 2012 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Free Event

In an era of social networking, texting and 'always-on' smartphone culture, the way we access and consume our entertainment is rapidly evolving. To launch Varoom issue 18: The Entertainment Issue, Emma Hayley (below, top), Grant Orchard (below, centre) and Adam Simpson (below, bottom) will discuss illustration work that in the age of 'fast food' media has taken the idea of entertainment in bold new directions. The debate will be chaired by Varoom's editor John O'Reilly and is in conjunction with the Association of Illustrators. Visit http://bit.ly/JtKFMc for more information about the event.

Tickets: Free. Please email events@foyles.co.uk to reserve a place
Venue: The Gallery at Foyles, Third Floor, Charing Cross Road
