Vive are a six-piece band intent on re-imagining the close-harmony jazz/spiritual/acapella sound. Founder James Rose is joined by Jenny Williams, Emily Dankworth, Ben Cox, Martynas Vilpisauskas and Lewis Daniel, all young and talented musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. Performing live around London with guest singers including Jacqui Dankworth, Vive bring rich, diverse harmonies with a fresh, contemporary sound, taking inspiration from the legendary Take 6 and the Real Group. Their music comprises mainly original arrangements and compositions, with a focus that fuses pop, harmony, jazz, and spiritual.
