Amy Lukavics

About The Author

Amy Lukavics lives in Prescott, Arizona with her husband and two children. She has long been intrigued by horror books and movies. Raised in a small mountain town in Arizona, she sustained herself on a steady diet of Goosebumps, Fear Street, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books before discovering Stephen King on her mother's bookshelf.

Daughters unto Devils is her first book, and has been described as 'Little House on the Prairie mets The Crucible meets The Exorcist'. When sixteen-year-old Amanda Verner's family move from their small mountain cabin to the vast prairie, Amanda hopes it will bring a fresh start, away from haunting memories of her mother giving birth to a terribly afflicted baby, of cabin fever and the boy Amanda has been meeting in secret. But their new home is soaked in blook and stories abound of unhinged men going on murderous rampages. Already weighed down by guilty secrets, Amanda can't be sure if the land really is evil or whether the evil resides within her own soul.

Exclusively for Foyles, Amy selects her favourite horror reads.
