Dave McKean's Magic of Reality Exhibition

Friday 9th September 2011 9:30am - Saturday 24th September 2011 6pm 107 Charing Cross Road Exhibition, Free Event

The Magic of Reality pairs renowned scientist Richard Dawkins with much-loved children's illustrator Dave McKean to produce a wonderful book that explains the mysteries of space, time, evolution and more.

While aimed at young readers, the book is a delight for all ages, showing that the world around us has an awe-inspiring beauty and thrilling magic which far exceed those of the ancient myths. Encounter rainbows, our genetic ancestors, tsunamis, shooting stars, plants, animals and an intriguing cast of characters in this extraordinary scientific voyage of discovery.

Foyles is proud to present a stunning exhibition of the images Dave McKean created for the book, consisting of dozens of sketches, finished artwork and beautifully reproduced prints.

The exhibition is in the Gallery on the Third Floor of our Charing Cross Road shop. It's accessible during our opening hours (except after 5pm Monday to Saturday, when the Gallery is in use for events).

Venue: Gallery, Third Floor, Foyles Charing Cross Road
