Jasper Fforde - The Woman Who Died a Lot

Monday 16th July 2012 6pm - 7pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Signing, Free Event

Jasper Fforde's latest novel, The Woman Who Died a Lot, sees Thursday Next defending her beloved Swindon from a smite-happy deity, attempting to purge a non-existent daughter who's stuck in her head and fending off an army of synthetic Thursdays produced by the reliably nefarious Goliath Corporation. All in a day's work then for the Bookworld's leading enforcement officer, except that this time Thursday is facing her biggest challenges yet - motherhood and enforced retirement.

Jasper Fforde makes his first visit to Foyles in Bristol to meet his fans and give us the lowdown on this dramatic new chapter in the life of his most enduring character.

Venue: Upstairs at Foyles, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU
Tickets: Free, but need to be reserved by emailing bristolevents@foyles.co.uk.
