One Culture: the Royal Society festival of Literature and the Arts

Saturday 1st October 2011 10am - Sunday 2nd October 2011 7pm The Royal Society Literary Event, Chargeable Event

The Royal Society invite you to join them in celebrating 350 years of their book collection with One Culture, a festival of science, literature and the arts.

From science to sci-fi, biology to ballet, physics to poetry, and a range of family activities too, all taking place at the Society's beautiful home on the Mall, there should be something for everyone. Take a look at the festival website for the full programme and booking details.

Speakers include John Banville, Marcus du Sautoy, Apostolos Doxiadis, Sian Ede, Sebastian Faulks, Lavinia Greenlaw, Sunetra Gupta, Richard Holmes, Michael Frayn, Paul Nurse, Tim Radford and many more. You'll also have chance to meet the speakers at book signings which will be taking place throughout the festival.

Foyles is proud to be the official bookseller at One Culture and we hope you'll visit us at our Festival Bookshop, where we'll be selling books by the authors taking part, as well as a range of titles celebrating the cross-currents between science and the arts.

Keep up to date with festival news on Twitter with the #oneculture tag
