CANCELLED Pass on a Poem: Poetry Reading

Tuesday 22nd November 2011 6pm - 7:30pm Bristol, Foyles, 6 Quakers Friars, Cabot Circus, Bristol, BS1 3BU Literary Event, Free Event

Come read your favourite poem or simply listen to others at the first inaugural Bristol meeting of Pass on a Poem.

Pass on a Poem was founded in 2006 to give as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy more poetry and, in some cases, to discover its pleasures and uses for the first time. Believing that a very effective way to convey the excitement and value of poetry is to read it out loud, people read out loud or just come along to listen to published poems chosen for their special, personal significance. No previous experience of either poetry or reading it live is required. Readings last for about one and a half hours.

For more details visit the Pass on a Poem website or email cabotcircus@foyles.co.uk

Venue: Upstairs at Foyles, Bristol

Tickets: CANCELLED
