Ray's Jazz: Binker Golding & Moses Boyd – 'Dem Ones'

Friday 11th September 2015 6:30pm - 7:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Ray's Jazz Event, Music Event, Chargeable Event

Having most recently toured as members of Zara MacFarlane’s band, Golding and Boyd present a series of free-style improvisations on nothing but tenor sax and drums that recall Coltrane’s 1966 link-up with Rashied Ali. Demonstrating great commitment to free improvisation, tenor and drums mesh into some startling and steamy lines, twisting and turning inventively across complex cross rhythms with remarkable agility.
