Homo Deus: An evening with Yuval Noah Harari

Monday 31st October 2016 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event

SOLD OUT. In Sapiens, Yuval Noah Harari told the entire history of the evolution of the human species, in a book as ambitious as it was accessible and as critically acclaimed as it was universally popular. Now he’s back: with a book that could be described as ‘Humanity: the Sequel’ he turns his attentions to the future, asking what’s next for the species in a world where life is changing at an unimaginable rate.

To celebrate the launch of Homo Deus, Harari, a dynamic speaker and genuine polymath, presents his vision of the future, drawing on his formidable knowledge of science, history, philosophy to examine the issues that the 21st-century human will face: from overcoming death, to creating artificial life, to the ongoing onslaught our environment faces from our humanity’s destructive powers. We can’t guarantee what that future holds, but we can promise you’ll leave the event feeling at least 10% smarter.

Venue: The Auditorium at Foyles, Level 6, 107 Charing Cross Road
Tickets: SOLD OUT. £8 per ticket, including a complimentary glass of wine.

Please note, no physical tickets will be issued, the email confirmation you receive is proof of your booking.

We are unable to issue refunds to customers unable to attend the event without at least 24 hours' notice. To request a refund of your ticket purchase or purchases, email with your details and request.
