Foyles Film Club: Deep End

Sunday 22nd March 2015 2:30pm - 4:30pm 107 Charing Cross Road Free Event

Specialising in classic and international cinema, our flagship Film Department offers one of the best selections of movies on DVD in London - and our book selection spans film theory, history and practice. Curated by our expert team of buyers and booksellers, we pride ourselves on this little temple to the big screen amidst our brand new Charing Cross Road store.

Now, in our brand new Auditorium, we're running a series of screenings curated by the team to exemplify what we love about the medium.

BFICome along for a screening of Jerzy Skolimowski's 1970 film Deep End - a darkly comic tale of two youngsters (John Moulder Brown and Jane Asher) working in a run-down London bath house. Recently made available again on the BFI Flipside label, this is a compelling take on young lust and a fascinating time-warp back to London at the tail end of the swinging sixties.

Permission to screen Deep End is kindly supplied by the BFI.

Please note that this film is rated 15 certificate. We will refuse access to anyone who is or appears to be under this age who cannot provide identification demonstrating otherwise.

Venue: The Auditorium at Foyles, Level 6, 107 Charing Cross Road

Tickets: Free, but reservation is essential. To reserve, simply add the required number of tickets to the basket below.

Please note that no physical tickets will be issued. The email confirmation you will receive is proof of your booking.
