London Fiction

Which novelists come to mind when you think of London? Charles Dickens, of course. How about Patrick Hamilton? Or Zadie Smith? Nick Hornby?

There are as many versions of London as there are novels about London. Every writer brings their own perspective to the city and in a city like London it's the past (and indeed the future) that features just as much as the present in the countless novels set here.

There are so many books we could recommend, but we've narrowed it down to our absolute favourites. Just click on one of the links below and you'll find books that we really hope you'll enjoy as much as we have.
