Customer Reviews

A 21st Century Copernicus Effect is the story of Callison Trebla, a mad-at-the-world and somewhat disgruntled quantum scientist on the verge of discovering time travel. Through fate and chance, he jumps through his own invented portal just minutes after it is first opened and into a land unknown to him. He eventually learns much behind the veil of light and meets Liele and Mystera, who help him acclimatise to where and when he is and the lessons he is to learn before he can return to the 21st century, and his life-long love, Eleanor. One of the main themes of the book is Callison's coming to terms with the loss of his young son, Jack who died nearly thirty years before his father's adventure beyond the 21st century. This novel is a progressive and transcendental story that flirts with the concepts of existentialism and being human. A 'must read' for anyone trying to understand the mortality of human beings and the reasons things happen to people during a life-time.
