I bought this as a Christmas present for my other half and was not disappointed. He is a chef and is mad on cook books. The book itself is lovely with a beautiful fabric cover and great prints. I don't get the Guardian which is why I have chosen to get this book. The recipes are varied and interesting (not done one yet - I need some spices) and the pictures (as in his first book) are beautiful. The padded cover is unusual too, I'm not sure how long it will last in the kitchen. It seems to pick up the current mood for 'meatless' meals without being either obvious or preachy.
