Levi Johnston planning tell-all Sarah Palin book

26th April 2011

Levi Johnston is planning to release a tell-all book about Sarah Palin's family.

The 20-year-old father of the US vice-presidential candidate's grandson says he has written the revealing book, titled Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs, 'for me, for my boy Tripp and for the country'.

'I want to tell the truth about my close relationship with the Palins, my sense of Sarah and my perplexing fall from grace - how I feel and what I've learned,' he added.

Stacy Creamer, vice president at Touchstone Publishing, which is releasing the book, promised it would be 'sweet and funny'.

Johnston and Palin's oldest daughter Bristol announced that they were engaged and expecting a child in August 2008. They later broke off their engagement before reuniting in July 2010 for just three weeks.

Last year, another author writing about Sarah Palin moved in next door to her family as part of his research.

Joe McGinnis faced a backlash from the public after Palin revealed his motives for moving to Alaska on her Facebook page.
