The ten titles that will comprise Richard & Judy's Autumn Book Club list have been revealed, with the new selection including the latest works by Anthony Horowitz and former Orange Prize for Fiction winner Helen Dunmore. Horowitz's The House of Silk and Dunmore's The Greatcoat have been selected alongside Secrets of the Tides by Hannah Richell and Eowyn Ivey's The Snow Child. They are joined by Lisa Ballantyne's The Guilty One, María Dueñas' The Seamstress and Between a Mother and Her Child by Elizabeth Noble. The list is completed by Robert Goddard's Fault Line, Double Cross by Ben Macintyre and Adriana Trigiani's The Shoemaker's Wife. Judy Finnigan, who originally launched the book club with her husband Richard Madeley on their Channel 4 chat show in 2004, said the autumn 2012 selection offers something for everyone, with a combination of styles and genres. 'Our list of books this season is as strong as they’ve always been and to be able to release ten again after the success of the Summer Book Club is testimony to our authors. We hope readers are enjoying our selections as much as we have,' she added.
