European Jazz Expo 2011 presents Sunflower Quartet
The 30th European Jazz Expo (EJE) makes its London debut tonight with
an exclusive performance by Sardinian group Sunflower Quartet, who bring
their Latin-inflected Mediterranean jazz grooves to the Gallery at
Foyles.

This special evening at Foyles serves as a precursor and companion to the main EJE event in Cagliari (27 - 29 May). The Latin-inflected Mediterranean jazz grooves of the Sunflower Quartet will be accompanied by a video-retrospective of the festival, comprising original live footage of past jazz luminaries, which features a rare performance by the full Art Ensemble of Chicago at the very first EJE.
