Chelmsford Opening Festival: What's So Special About Dinosaurs?

Sunday 9th October 2016 2pm - 3pm Bond Street Chelmsford Children's Event, Free Event

Help Nicky Dee tell the story of how dinosaurs came to rule the world using the Scary Scale, the Speed-O-Meter and the Braininess Ladder.

Nicky Dee is a dedicated dinosaur fan and expert. Having fallen under the spell of these perennially popular, prehistoric creatures seven years ago, she has become so obsessed that she's changed her career, and now writes children's books about dinosaurs full-time. ‘What’s so Special about Dinosaurs?’ is her brand new series of bright, colourful, individual dinosaur books that provide the perfect crossover between picture books and encyclopaedia-style reference titles.

Nicky will be reading from her books to explore the prehistoric world, as well as inviting children to join in on some dinosaur-themed games and storytelling.

The event will feature dinosaur teeth and a killing claw so be sure to bring your brave!

This is a free event and each child will get to take away their very own dinosaur bookmark.

Tickets: This is a free event, simply add the required number of tickets

Venue: Foyles, 86 Bond Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1GH
