Therese Weber has been researching and writing on Asian culture for over 20 years. A professor of Visual Arts at the University of North West Switzerland, Liestal/Basle, she enjoys international recognition as a freelance artist. Her work is represented in many private collections and public institutions. From 1992 to 1996 she was President of the International Association of Papermakers and Paper Artists (IAPMA), of which she was one of the founders.
