Customer Reviews

The hardback book is as well-designed and aesthetically pleasing as Apple's own products, so it will look good sitting on your shelf. The content is just as interesting, charting the rise of one of the great 20th Century entrepreneurs, who just happened to be an odd, rude, very smart man, all of which makes him the perfect subject for an-indepth biography. Interesting to see the pictures too.

A fair, balanced, well written and well structured book. Rarely has the world seen a company founder and CEO of such a large and successful company spanning the whole range from complete asshole to incredible genius. Were it not for SJ's vision you might still be looking at a text based screen with the C:\> in green or white color. Forgetting the distasteful worshiping of everything Apple these days and SJ himself, he gave the world the first useful and popular personal computer, which in 1976 was an impossible dream, in effect launching the whole PC industry, changed the music industry forever, innovated one of the most incredible products ever with his masterpiece: the Iphone - rarely has a new product seen such a huge number of great inventions and improvements at once -, gave us the wonderful Pixar movies and lastly the Ipad which might prove as important as the Ipod. He deserves this great book as a lasting memory of a man who made many revolutions happen.
