Das vorliegende Buch behandelt den Themenkomplex der entwicklungsbegleitenden (konstruktionsbegleitenden) Vorkalkulation. Der Autor stellt erstmals die technische und die betriebswirtschaftliche Sichtweise einander gegenuber und erarbeitet die datentechnische und funktionale Integrationsmoglichkeit der beiden Bereiche. Ausgehend von den technischen und den betriebswirtschaftlichen Grundlagen werden zunachst die Integrationsanforderungen zwischen den Bereichen ermittelt und sodann ein Datenmodell fur die entwicklungsbegleitende Vorkalkulation formuliert. Ein programmierter Prototyp zeigt die Funktionsfahigkeit des Modells. Hierbei wird deutlich, dass gerade die betriebswirtschaftlichen Verfahren eine wichtige Basis fur die entwicklungsbegleitende Kalkulation bilden und dass die in diesem Themenbereich erforderliche Zusammenarbeit zwischen Technik und Betriebswirtschaft bislang vernachlassigt wurde. So ist es das Ziel des Buches, die innerhalb des Themenkomplexes bisher unberucksichtigten Belange der Betriebswirtschaft aufzuzeigen und einen Losungsansatz zu formulieren. Der Leser erhalt einen umfassenden Einblick in die Problemstellung der Vorkalkulation wahrend der Entwicklung/Konstruktion eines Produktes."
