Synopsis

In this book, acknowledged English gun expert Michael McIntosh and former H & H director Jan Roosenburg show us the finest products ever produced by H & H. Many photos shown are firearms from private collections, which cannot be seen publicly anywhere except in this book.

In the Mid 1970s, Michael McIntosh began turning a lifelong fascination with guns and shooting into a full-time career. Now, almost thirty years later, the former English professor is the world's most highly respected shotgun writer. He has written twenty-one books, hundreds of articles and has been published in every major sporting magazine. He is a senior instructor at the Fieldsport Wingshooting School in Michigan and lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Jan Roosenburg was born in the Netherlands and in the late seventies branched into the USA with his own company. In 1991 he joined Holland & Holland, from which he retired at the end of 2000 as vice president of sporting weapons. Roosenburg grew up amid driven shooting, wildfowling and fine guns. He has written articles on guns and shooting for prominent publications. Besides shooting, Roosenburg is involved in fly fishing and golf. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
