This guidebook paves the way to integrated talent management by assembling the collective experience and insight of 19 experts who examine research-based theories and current practices in highly successful enterprises. These contributors (including Marshall Goldsmith, Peter Cappelli, Leslie Joyce, and Edward E. Lawler, among others) provide practical advice about how you can adopt effective, state-of-the-art methods in your own organisation.

As CEO of i4cp, Kevin provides strategic direction and vision, and is responsible for the overall operations of the organization. Kevin has been a pioneer in the human capital field for the last 15 years, and is a frequent author and international keynote speaker on topics such as talent management, leadership, innovation, metrics, and strategic learning in organizations. Prior to founding i4cp, Kevin created SumTotal Systems, the world's largest learning management system company and the industry's leading provider of talent development solutions, when he merged Click2learn with Docent in 2003. The merger won Frost & Sullivan's Competitive Strategy Award in 2004. Kevin was also the 2006 chair of ATD's board, and served five years as an ATD board member. Pat Galagan is the editor-at-large for the Association for Talent Development (ATD). As a writer and editor for more than 30 years, she has covered all aspects of talent development and interviewed many business leaders and the CEOs of numerous Fortune 500 companies.
