Synopsis

Labour reform is one of the most pressing issues in Latin America today. In response, this important book draws on extensive research to chart the development of labour reform policies throughout the continent. Using case studies of Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay the book explores the impact of globalisation and a neo liberal agenda on labour reform in individual countries.
