Synopsis

What do you do when your sink's on the blink? In Tapton everyone knows who to call - the Toucans that can do, Sammy and Paul! But when new plumber Flash Rover swings into town, the Toucan's telephone stops ringing. Flash Rover may be faster and cheaper, but he's also a rotten cheat and it isn't long before the people of Tapton find themselves in deep, deep water . . . So remember, if there's a job that you simply can't do then call those that can - the twosome that can do, the Brothers Toucan! A future classic - you'll laugh until your pipes burst!

Tor Freeman was born and educated in London and graduated from Kingston University with a BA in illustration in 1999. Although most of her life has been spent in London, time spent living in California and her mother's home in South Africa have influenced her work today. Memories of beachcombing, evenings outside, and local animals and insects come back to her whenever she picks up a pencil. Tor's books for Macmillan include Ambrose Goes For Gold, One Pig Went For A Drive and Showtime For Billie and Coco. Tor lives and works in North London and was recently awarded the prestigious Maurice Sendak Fellowship.
