Synopsis

This book presents more great comic artwork from the illustrator of THE HOLE and MY FATHER'S ARMS ARE A BOAT.Unlike other retellings, this one spins it like it's never been spun before by giving it a contemporary atmosphere that yet preserves the quality of a fable. Here, Noah is a regular guy with a hip wife, and the animals are like any of us would be with a lot of time to pass out at sea. With bright, spot colors printed on lush, thick paper, the book has a timeless feel, with the fable and the material qualities of the book itself contributing to this. The Noah story always has appeal, as do cute dogs, and visually playful illustrations with comic-book elements.
