Die linguistische Beschreibung der semantischen Merkmale von Nomen und der syntaktischen Strukturen des poetischen Diskurses Paul Celans zeigt die Mechanismen zunehmender Dekonstruktion seiner lyrischen Sprache auf und begreift diese Entwicklung gleichzeitig als Weg zu einer inneren Sprache wie sie als ein wichtiges Stadium im Prozess des Spracherwerbs verstanden wird. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung weisen auf die zyklische Natur eines dekonstruktiven Sprachgebrauchs im dichterischen Werk Paul Celans hin.

Die Autorin: Edda Dupke Hodnett ist in Berlin geboren und hat an der Universitaet Hamburg Anglistik und Paedagogik studiert. Sie erhielt ihr M.A. Linguistik von der San Diego State University und ihr Ph.D. in Literatur von der University of California, San Diego. Sie hat deutsche Sprache und Literatur unterrichtet und ist Dozentin in der deutschen Sektion der University of California, San Diego.
