The Author: Domenico Maceri e nato a Pellegrina (Reggio Calabria) nel 1952. Ha studiato lingue a Jersey City State College nel New Jersey e poi a UCLA. Nel 1990 ha ottenuto il Ph.D. in letterature comparate all'Universita di California in Santa Barbara. Ha pubblicato su Pirandello, Padula e sulla pedagogia delle lingue straniere. Attualmente si sta interessando ai rapporti fra Pirandello e il teatro messicano. E docente di lingue romanze presso l'Allan Hancock College di Santa Maria, California.
