Benedicte Mauguiere est professeur agrege en Etudes francophones a l'Universite de Southwestern Louisiana. Elle a recu un Doctorat en litteratures et civilisations francophones de l'universite Paris IV-Sorbonne. Elle est l'auteur de nombreuses publications dans The French Review, La Revue francophone, Quebec Studies, Presence francophone et a recemment publie Cultural Identities in Canadian Literature/Identites culturelles dans la litterature canadienne.
