Die Autorin: Ludmila Kaloyanova-Slavova wurde in Bulgarien geboren. Sie studierte Germanistik an der Kliment Ohridski-Universitaet in Sofia/Bulgarien. 1991 begann sie ein Promotionsstudium in den Vereinigten Staaten und promovierte an der Universitaet Pittsburgh. Uebergangsgeschoepfe ist ihre erste Publikation.
