Synopsis

HBO's hit series A GAME OF THRONES is based on George R R Martin's internationally bestselling series A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE, the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age. A FEAST FOR CROWS is the fourth volume in the series.

`On the morning after battle, the crows had feasted on victors and vanquished alike. How much can a crown be worth, when a crow can dine upon a king?'

A Lannister sits upon the Iron Throne. But the days of betrayal and bloodshed are far from over.

Among the ashes of war, new conflicts spark to life. Daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed which threaten to engulf Westeros. But in this game of thrones, victory will go to those with the sharpest steel and the coldest hearts.

Customer Reviews

This book follows on from the previous 3, following the lives of those in Westeros. Whilst some found it arduous and disliked the lack of favourite characters, I enjoyed the opportunity to explore particular areas of Westeros in more detail - The Iron Islands & Dorne specifically; whilst still following the lives of half of the main characters. Very much looking forward to getting the other half of the story in the next book. I think George Martin made a good choice splitting the characters in half for this book and the next, rather than splitting all the stories in half.
