Many years ago when the last tribe of nomads roamed the lands, the Bodians came tot the planet and ransacked the continent. They had one mission and purpose: to enslave the inhabitants. The Bodians were so savage and brutal that Aurora was forced to intervene. Aurora was a Taun warrior who used sorcery and magic to reign down a horrible punishment. She did not destroy the Bodians. She encased them in ice. Martel Fleury is an American glaciologist. He has spent the last few decades measuring ice on six continents. His research team travels into the Arctic and begins to core drill and extract samples from the ice. The data is conclusive - something other than greenhouse gases is causing the glaciers above the Arctic Circle to melt. Greenland contains enough ice to raise sea level by 20 feet. If Greenland melts - the world will change in many ways. Cities along the coastlines, everywhere, will disappear. This will force humans to migrate inland in droves. Displaced refugees will travel across oceans to build homes and raise families here. It will be a new time and Greenland will be a new world. It will also be a time of horrible discoveries.
