Synopsis

Inspired by the hit TV series 'The Fugitive', the 'Deadman' stories star costumed highwire performer Boston Brand, who is assassinated by an unknown marksman in his first story. A mysterious deity gives Boston the chance to revist the land of the living as Deadman, with the mission of finding his murderer.

Neal Adams began anonymously illustrated strips including Rip Kirby and Ben Casey. In the late sixties, he began working for both DC and Marvel Comics; for the former, he illustrated titles including Deadman, Batman, Superman and notably Green Arrow and Green Lantern; for the latter, Adams drew The Avengers, The Inhumans and the X-Men.
