Synopsis

Originally debuting in the early 60's from Sgt. Rock creator Robert

Kanigher, The War Time Forgot mixed the popular war stories of the time

with everyone's favorite - dinosaurs! Now, as DC Comics launches the

second wave of New 52 titles, J.T. Krul and Ariel Oliveti bring us these new

tales of contemporary soldiers battling pterodactyls and a tyrannosaurus rex as

they struggle to understand where - or when - they are! Also

included in G.I. Combat is a fresh take on the classic Kanigher and Joe

Kubert creation, Unknown Soldier, from Jimmy Palmiotti (Jonah Hex) and

Justin Gray (Jonah Hex). In the wake of the death of his wife and

children during the 2005 London train bombings, a broken man becomes a human

guinea pig, subjected to numerous experiments in the hope that they will grant

him super-powers.
