Roland Pollnitz ist ein Volksdichter, der seine Umgebung mit allen funf Sinnen in sich einsaugt, in seiner Seele filtert, um sie dann aus seinem Herzen heraus in ihrer poetischen Gestalt aufs Papier zu bringen. Aus dieser Quelle stammen zahlreiche Gedichte, diverse Erzahlungen und einige Romane. Der 1958 nahe Magdeburg geborene Autor blickt auf ein buntes Leben zuruck. Doch nun befindet er sich auf dem Dichterpfad, der von den Bluten der Poesie gesaumt wird. Er braucht sie nur noch zu pflucken. Mit seinem 15. Gedichtband "Im Rausch des Daseins" nimmt er seine Leser mit auf einen Naturlehrpfad durch den Fruhling, den Sommer, den Herbst und den Winter. Viele seiner Zeilen sind Aquarelle, aus denen malerische Zartheit und liebevolle Zartlichkeit spricht. Seine Liebesgedichte sind nett, bisweilen heiter, ab und zu ernst, dann wieder mit einem Augenzwinkern versehen. So beschreibt er die Emotionen, Zweifel und Leidenschaften, die jeder schon einmal erlebt hat.
