Synopsis

Six months have passed since Jackie Brighton's New Orleans adventure and she is knee-deep in a university-sponsered achaelogy dig in Yucatan, Mexico, finally letting things get back to normal--whatever that is. But with a surprise phone call from Remy, saying she's lost her magic charm that keeps the evil spirit Joachim at bay--and a surprise visit from the Serim Council and Archangel Gabriel that leaves her and Noah under arrest--Jackie's life spins out of control. Again. With a plea bargain offer from the angel Ariel, Jackie doesn't have many options: she can take the plea and save herself, she can wait to be sex-starved in punishment, orshe can escape. Option three it is. But with her freedom comes even more drama--the vampire Queen Nitrocris is back and threatens to destroy Jackie if she doesn't stop Remy's rampage. Now, paired up with her ex-lover, Zane, and their watchguard vampire Caleb, Jackie must find a way to stop Remy, save Noah, and trap Joachim once and for all.

Jill Myles has been an incurable romantic since childhood. She reads all the 'naughty parts' of books first, looks for a dirty joke in everything, and thinks to this day that the "Little House on the Prairie" books should have been steamier. After devouring hundreds of paperback romances, mythology books, and archaeological tomes, she decided to write books of her own - stories with a wild adventure, sharp banter, and lots of super-sexy situations. She prefers her heroes alpha and half-dressed, her heroines witty and strong, and she loves nothing more than watching them overcome adversity to fall into bed together.
