Phyl is an only child born in 1948 in Napier New Zealand. She developed a passion for writing from an early age, especially for poetry and short stories based on fact. Married with two children and living in the Central North Island of New Zealand she assists her husband Don on a 2500 acres sheep and beef farm and runs a successful tourist lodge. This is Phyl's first combination of short stories and poetry. Her inspiration comes from the lifestyle she has lived for the past 30 years. As a reader you will all find a little of yourself in her work. As a writer she hopes to bring a smile to your lips as you discover those familiar moments.
