Synopsis

Cuban cuisine is an accumulation of methods and ingredients drawn from both the island's history and its natural resources, from the early influences of native Cuban Indians to the arrival of the Spaniards, and the imported African slaves bought over by the new colonists. "A Taste of Cuba" is a gastronomic tour of starters, soups, main dishes, side dishes and desserts using local produce and ingredients that contain mouth-watering spices and flavours so popular in the region.
