Programmed to Live: Young and Able is a very unique book, intended to inspire, motivate, remind and provide the reader with broad life changing tips. It focuses on aspiration, positive thinking, self-knowledge, life coaching, mentoring, confidence building, relationships, understanding loss, how to set life goals, plus many more. The authors were not trying to re-invent the wheel of common morality or aspiration but reminding readers that the wheel is still out there and functional. Most of the topics within are not new concepts; it is about rekindling the values we already knew but have not always remembered. It is about changing negative mindset. We should not set limits to what we can do or achieve in life because there are no limit. Changing our lives for the better is not merely about altering physical appearance but that also of emotional updates. We often suffer more not from physical ailments, but because we worry too much about everything under the sun, or hate too much - enough to destroy a small country. Sometimes, we are victims of our own wrong life choices, with too much guilt following us around from our excessive indulgences. Our lives don't have to be this way. This book is aimed at young adults, teenagers, parents, those working with disengaged youth, and for people who are going through relationship break-up and self-esteem challenges. There is something for everyone within, more so, if you love humour, irony and present day reality. It is very different and littered with nuggets of wisdom.
