Bibliography of Sun Yat-Sen in China's Republican Revolution, 1885-1925, Second Edition provides the most up-to-date and complete bibliography on the life and revolutionary career of Sun Yat-sen, including newly discovered works and correspondence. Though much of Sun's own work and pieces on the Chinese Republican Revolution are printed in English, Chinese, and Japanese, this book presents others in more than a dozen other languages. The materials include: bibliographical and reference works, the writings of Sun Yat-sen, articles, papers and symposia, translated works, documentary collections, doctoral dissertations, masters theses, selected newspaper and magazine accounts, and films and videotapes. This broad representation of works is easily accessible through subject and topic indices. Materials are presented in individual sections categorized by type of medium used, and subject and topic indexes are also included. Essential acquisition for libraries, research institutes, archives and those studying topics pertaining to Sun Yat-Sen and the late Qing and early Republican periods in China.

Sidney H. Chang edited Bibliography of Sun Yat-sen in China's Republican Revolution (University Press of America 1990), and is Professor of History at California State University at Fresno. Leonard H.D. Gordon is a Professor Emeritus of Chinese History at Purdue University.
