Synopsis

This book is prequel to the anticipated Conservative victory in the general election expected in May 2010. It draws on Zetter's unrivalled experience as an author, political consultant, and Conservative Party activist of 30 years standing. On the policy side, the book reviews the Party's declared policies. It also looks at the unspoken policies which the party will have to implement if elected. The book has biographies of the existing shadow cabinet members, and also those junior front-benchers and backbenchers who can expect to be re-elected and to play a part in the next Conservative government. As well as existing MPs, the book has biographies of the Conservative Parliamentary Candidates in the top 150 winnable marginal seats. Additionally, the book covers those on the periphery who will have an impact on the new Conservative government.
