L'auteur: Ne a Port-au-Prince, Jacques-Raphael Georges a emigre aux Etats-Unis d'Amerique en 1974. Veteran de la US Navy il a etudie la technologie cardio-pulmonaire. A ce titre il a prete ses services a plusieurs centres hospitaliers de la Nouvelle Angleterre. Detenteur d'un doctorat en litteratures francophones, il enseigne actuellement a l'Universite du New Hampshire, Manchester. Il projette de publier prochainement La Poesie complete de Jacques Roumain et Treize poemes pour le Maroc.
